Gift Delivery Information
Please read the following information to ensure you understand Rainbow Designs Delivery procedures.
Important Information
- FYI: Same Day Despatch means your order is sent the same day* (not delivered)
- Orders received over the weekend will be despatched on Monday (if public holiday then Tuesday)
- We deliver Australia wide, Monday to Friday. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays
- Same day delivery is not available
- Next day delivery is available to Sydney metro only provided your order is placed by 1pm AEST^
- Delivery is INCLUDED in the price there is no extra charge
- Corporate/Large orders - are generally sent within 3 to 4 days. We recommend allowing 10 business days for delivery from date of order (& receipt of payment)
- It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Rainbow Designs if an order does not arrive. We will then proceed to lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.
Delivery Times
- *Orders placed BEFORE 1pm aest (Mon-Fri ex PH) will be sent the same day. Orders received AFTER 1pm will be sent the next business day.
- Sydney Metro - next business day.
- Postcodes included in the Next Day Delivery area are: 1000-1920, 2000-2249, 2444, 2555-2574 & 2740-2786.
- Deliveries for Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth - general delivery time is 2-3 business days. Next day delivery is not available.
- Rest of Australia including Country Areas (WA, Tas, Nth Qld, NT) - 2-6 business days. Next day delivery is not available.
Additional Information
Although we use fabulously friendly and reliable couriers to deliver our gifts, occasionally delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances which are totally out of our control. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Any delays causing your gift to not be delivered on schedule is not an applicable reason for refund of your gift. We try our absolute darndest to ensure your order is delivered as requested but sometimes things conspire against us, such is the joy of life :-)
- We DO NOT recommend deliveries to hospitals, especially if you do not know how long they are to be there. If you do send to a hospital PLEASE include ALL information to help with delivery ie Ward, Department, Room
- All gift prices include delivery Australia wide.
- Deliveries are made by Australia Express Post, Registered Post and Fastway Couriers.
- Sorry there are no deliveries made on weekends or public holidays
- We deliver Australia wide only, we do not deliver Overseas.
- Expected delivery time is 1 to 7 days but is dependent on area gift is being delivered to.
- Please understand that Rainbow Designs cannot be held responsible for delays caused by our trusted and friendly delivery partners.
- Orders placed before 1pm AEST∧ & (Monday to Friday) will be sent the same day. Orders placed after 1pm AEST will be sent the next business day. Every effort will be made to despatch orders as quickly as possible.
- We are unable to ensure a specific delivery time i.e 3.30pm, morning only, after 4pm etc. We will write this on the parcel but it is up to the individual courier if they are able to do this. Generally deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm
- If there is no one home when delivery is made Australia Post's standard practice is to leave a "collect card" in the letter box. This enables the recipient to obtain their parcel from the post office advised on the card. Australia Post may also leave the parcel at the delivery address specified if safe to do so. If the delivery is being made by one of our fabulous couriers they need to be given authority to leave the parcel otherwise it will be taken back to the depot and another attempt of delivery will be made the next business day.
- In the instance where an incorrect address is provided or a parcel has been returned to Rainbow Designs as undeliverable, an extra charge of $15.95 will apply if redelivery is required. A refund will not be given on these parcels.
- There is no delivery charge on Corporate orders.
- You can check the progress of your delivery by visiting our order tracking page plus we also send out regular email updates notifying you on the status of your order.
