Gift Delivery Information
Very Important Information
- Orders are despatched (sent) within 24hours unless otherwise advised in the Gifts description
- Orders received on Friday (after 1pm), Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday (if public holiday then Tuesday)
- Every effort is made to deliver your gift on your prefered day, but this may not always be possible
- We deliver Australia wide*, Monday to Friday. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays
- Unfortunately same day delivery is NOT available
- Delivery is INCLUDED in the price there is no extra charge
- Corporate/Large orders - are generally sent within 3 to 4 days. We recommend allowing 10 business days for delivery from date of order (& receipt of payment)
- It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Rainbow Designs if an order does not arrive. We will then proceed to lodge enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.
* We now have a range of gifts available for delivery Overseas (exciting!).
Additional Information
Although we use fabulously friendly and reliable couriers to deliver our gifts, occasionally delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances which are totally out of our control. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Any delays causing your gift to not be delivered on schedule is not an applicable reason for refund of your gift. We try our absolute darndest to ensure your order is delivered as requested but sometimes things conspire against us :-). Not all parcels can be left when someone is not home, even if Authority has been given. It is up to the individual courier/driver and is out of our hands.
- We DO NOT recommend deliveries to hospitals, especially if you do not know how long they are to be there. If you do send to a hospital PLEASE include ALL information to help with delivery ie Ward, Department, Room
- All gift prices include delivery Australia wide.(and Overseas delivery where available!)
- Deliveries are made by Australia Express Post, Registered Post, Standard Post and Fastway Couriers.
- Sorry there are no deliveries made on weekends or public holidays
- Most of our gifts are available for delivery within Australia only, we do have some fabulous gifts that are available for delivery Overseas!
- Expected delivery time from date of despatch is 1 to 7 days but is dependent on area gift is being delivered to. Overseas gifts please allow a few extra days.
- Please understand that Rainbow Designs cannot be held responsible for delays caused by our trusted and friendly delivery partners.
- We are unable to ensure a specific delivery time i.e 3.30pm, morning only, after 4pm etc. We will write this on the parcel but it is up to the individual courier if they are able to do this. Generally deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm
- If there is no one home when delivery is made Australia Post's standard practice is to leave a "collect card" in the letter box. This enables the recipient to obtain their parcel from the post office advised on the card. Australia Post may also leave the parcel at the delivery address specified if safe to do so. If the delivery is being made by one of our fabulous couriers they need to be given authority to leave the parcel otherwise it will be taken back to the depot and another attempt of delivery will be made the next business day.
- In the instance where an incorrect address is provided or a parcel has been returned to Rainbow Designs as undeliverable, an extra charge of $15.95 will apply if redelivery is required. A refund will not be given on these parcels.
- A parcel cannot be redirected once it has been sent.
- There is no delivery charge on Corporate orders being delivered to a single address.
